  • Union May Day Celebration in Portland Maine!

    Dear brothers and sisters,

For years, bad employers have increased their profits by recruiting and exploiting immigrant workers. They don't pay fair wages and have unsafe working conditions. If the workers are undocumented, they cannot speak up. And they certainly can't join a union.

Now, we are demanding that this change.  We support comprehensive immigration reform that guarantees all workers are protected by state and federal laws.  This will level the playing field for good employers and for all workers, and end this exploitation and abuse.  The time is now to fix this broken system.

May 1st is International Workers' Rights Day.  This May Day workers and immigrants from across Maine will be uniting for a rally in Portland to call on Congress to pass fair and comprehensive immigration reform.

    Please join me there!
